A great start to Gemfest yesterday with attendances exceeding last year’s event, and more great fun and excitement to be had today and over the weekend at Australia’s premier Gemstone Festival.

If you are coming to the Gemfields for this awesome event some extra-special highlights include the official opening ceremony today (yes, we know Gemfest actually started yesterday but this makes it official!) and the concert & fireworks spectacular in Rubyvale tomorrow night (Saturday). If you are planning to come for more than one day don’t forget the awesome value of our “Passport” entry ticket ($20 for multi-day entry). Kids’ tickets are only $2 for the bigguns and free for kids younger than 12.

Prizes galore to be won, brilliant entertainment, a new “Wellness Marquee” and more food than you could stuff in a starving elephant make Gemfest a complete entertainment experience. And of course, there are more beautiful gemstones and jewellery at Gemfest than you’d find in Kim Kardashian’s handbag. So forget about procrastinating and get yourself to Gemfest!

You can also get the latest Gemfest updates and join in the conversation at our Facebook page. See you there!
