The historic Anakie Gemfields Hotel Motel is just off the main highway the pub which had to be partially rebuilt in 1971 after a disgruntled patron blew out the front section with gelignite. This year it has gone through refurbished and it now offers a Bottleshop, meals and budget accommodation. The hotel comes complete with its own bowling green so why not call in and cool off while you have a game of bowls.
